Pre-Production of "Gazpacho"

This project has been rolling around in my head since Tribeca Flashpoint College  in chicago, where I came up with the original concept. Over the years it has taken many twists and turns, but it finally has a main cast, and the story is ready to be told. I have written no less than ten rewrites of the screenplay, but something was always lacking. The missing ingredient was the Latin flavor. Originally it was to be shot in Chicago, but as I now reside in Ecuador, the movie will be produced in Guayaquil. The movie has all the makings of a U.S. mobster film with the Hispanic eccentricities that I am sure will intrigue and entertain.

The story is about an average day for a group of mobsters in Guayaquil. There is Gio the boss, Ozzie the enforcer/chauffeur, and Martin the recruit. What is normal to them is anything but insane to us. This story will take you on a roller coaster ride through the streets of Guayaquil in an unexpected journey of chaos, mischief, and terror.

Is there a lesson in this movie? Is there a happy ending? Or, is it just pure entertainment?

We shall see.

One thing I do promise, is that you will become a master in the preparation of Gazpacho after just one viewing.

More updates soon.
